InfoIBM.Arc
This archive contains a fully operational InfoDoor database application.
The Archive should contain the following files:
Info006.065
Info006.066 - These two files constitute the sample database
InfoIBM.Idx - This is the database index file.
InfoIBM.Cfg - This is the InfoDoor configuration file for this
application. Modify to match your system config.
Hello - Opening Message file for this application
Help - Help file for this application
Create a subdirectory called \InfoIBM to hold these files (the config.
file assumes you'll be working on drive C:). To actually install this
application as a PCBoard door, you'll need to do a little more work.
First, create a batch file to run the door. The following should
suffice:
CD \InfoIBM
InfoDoor InfoIBM.Cfg
CD \PCB
Board
(Note here that the InfoDoor.Exe file will need to be placed somewhere
in your path). Next, place an entry for this door in your Doors.Dat
file (see your PCBoard documentation or the InfoDoor.Doc file for more
details on Doors.Dat entries).
The Index file for this application may be re-generated at any time by
running the InfoIndx program as follows:
CD \InfoIBM
InfoIndx InfoIBM.Cfg Info006.* >InfoIBM.Idx
(As before, the above assumes that the InfoIndx.Exe file is accessible
via your DOS Path).
══[ Note ]═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Should you decide to register InfoDoor for your system and would like
a copy of my InfoIBM database (several megabytes worth), include an
extra $10.00 to cover the costs of diskettes and mailing and I'll be
happy to send it to you.
